The NRC Research Associateship Programs (RAP) are postdoctoral and senior research awards intended to provide future scientists and engineers with excellent research opportunities at federal laboratories and affiliated institutions, such as the US Air Force Research Laboratories. These programs offer a full experience, including mentorship, access to high-tech facilities, and possible opportunities to influence government policy. Deadlines for these competitive awards are four times a year. The next application opens on December 1 and is due February 1.
